Artist Statement:

My practice is a meditation on the in-between - the natural and artificial and the ephemeral and permanent that morph into new forms of landscapes as installations, sculptures and visual works. I engage with natural materials from the land, such as foraged natural dyes, urban weeds, food waste, reclaimed materials and water samples from sewage-overflow sites to tell stories of belonging and place. My methods draw from a place of contemplation, using slow conscious processes such as natural dyeing, weaving, and interspecies collaboration to unveil complex perspectives.
